Sochi, 1980. The Zhemchuzhina Hotel became one of the symbols of modern resort Sochi. Rising above the Black Sea shoreline, it welcomed visitors from across the USSR seeking sunshine, seaside holidays and the subtropical atmosphere of the Soviet Riviera.

Yessentuki, 1978. Spring No. 17 was the most famous mineral water source in the resort town of Yessentuki. Visitors came here to drink the renowned healing waters and enjoy the parks, mild climate and spa traditions of the Caucasian Mineral Waters region.
